Main Street Veterinary Hospital in Cornelius Scholarship

David Hoe is a graduate of Penn State University where he studied Marketing while under an Army ROTC scholarship. Upon graduation he married his college sweetheart Lori and together they moved to Columbus, Georgia where he began his career as a Lieutenant in the Army. As a Platoon Leader, he led his troops on missions in Baghdad and Fallujah during the first year of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon returning from war, he earned his MBA from Auburn University where Lori was also studying to become a veterinarian. Upon graduation they moved to Huntersville NC where David began a career as a Government Sales Director for GOJO Industries, the maker of PURELL hand sanitizer. David spent ten years leading the government sales division before leaving the company to pursue his business pursuits full time.

In 2013 he and Lori opened Main Street Veterinary Hospital in Cornelius. When that went well, he developed a vision for helping to start more practices which led to the founding of Hambright Animal Hospital in Huntersville, Harbor Point Animal Hospital in Mooresville and two emergency hospitals that were sold in 2018.

Dr. Lori Hoe has been practicing small animal veterinary medicine in the Lake Norman area since 2007. She is passionate about pets and the people that love them. Dr. Hoe graduated with highest distinction and honors from Penn State University and Summa Cum Laude from Auburn University of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Hoe enjoys spending time with her family boating on Lake Norman and hiking in the blue ridge mountains.
