Mr. Markievius Howell

Markievius Howell, a 2011 graduate of Hunter Huss High School and local entrepreneur, has established this scholarship to support a Gaston College student. After starting a career in manufacturing, he got the inspiration to make candy from his daughter. His creation’s initial social media posts received positive feedback encouraging him to open Best of Both Worlds Candy Spot on Main Ave. in downtown Gastonia.
