The Andy Hawkins Memorial Scholarship Fund

Alison Nichols, a 1992 graduate of GC’s mechanical drafting program, established this award in memory of her instructor, Andy Hawkins. The scholarship is intended to assist students in any Engineering & Industrial Technologies program. Scholarships distributed from this Fund may only be awarded to either recent high school graduates who have achieved a minimum high school GPA of 2.5 or continuing Gaston College students who have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0. Financial need is strongly considered but is not a requirement for this scholarship. Scholarships are not renewable for a second year.
