The Carolynn A. Robinson Memorial Fund

Carolynn A. Robinson graduated from Hunter Huss High School and Mars Hill University. An accomplished businesswoman, Carolynn opened her own business, a Hallmark store at Akers Center in 1975. She continued her career in property acquisitions and securing right-of-ways for the State of North Carolina, Duke Energy, Wilbanks Resources in Denver, Colorado, and Frontier Energy. She was named the Right-of-Way agent for the state early in her career and helped open doors for other women who followed in her footsteps. This scholarship provides financial assistance for a promising nursing student. Student must be enrolled in a LPN-RN Program, must be in good academic standing and a resident of Gaston County. Preference is given to current CaroMont Health Employees. May be renewed for a second year
