GC Promise Scholarship

GC Promise is a last dollar scholarship covering up to $1250 per term and up to four semesters for recent high school graduates from Gaston and Lincoln Counties (public, private, and home schools are eligible). Students must have completed at least 15 credit hours in a Career and College Promise (CCP) program or have completed a CCP pathway. Students must have earned a ‘C’ or higher in all attempted courses and have earned at least a 3.25 or higher unweighted high school GPA. Enrollment requirements include – applying to Gaston College as a degree-seeking curriculum student, enrolling in at least 15 credit hours in the fall semester immediately following high school graduation, applying for GC scholarships, applying for financial aid, and completing all general admission requirements of the College, including orientation.
