The Pauline Scruggs Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established by the Altrusa Club of Gastonia in memory of Pauline Scruggs, its first president. This scholarship is awarded to 2-full time students in any course of study who have resided or worked in Gaston County for at least one year. The recipients will be selected based on his/her character, integrity, academic achievement, and need. Must maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA. Applicants are required to submit a transcript and letter of recommendation from one adult who is not a relative.
