James B. and Evelyn S. Beatty Scholarship Fund

James B. Beatty was 80 years when he passed away in February 2014. Evelyn S. Beatty, was 86 when she passed away in August 2022. Mr. Beatty was a U.S. Army veteran, a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church in Mount Holly and was retired from Duke Energy. Mrs. Beatty was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Mount Holly. She was a retired elementary school teacher. She loved her animals. Evelyn and Jimmy enjoyed traveling in their motor home and spending time at their home in the mountains. i.
The scholarship is to qualified students in need of financial aid as the officials of such institutions deem best in their discretion
